Jane Clement: ‘I’m pretty certain we did both a PM At One and a 6.55 on this railway. Is this the one where we stopped the train in the middle of the countryside (ie not at a station? for some reason? Steve N Weddle, Diane Reid – you’ll remember. Di, weren’t you the director?’
Marian was one of the chief presenters on Pebble Mill at One during its thirteen year run (1973 to 1986). I don’t know what Marian did after Pebble Mill at One was axed. Let us remember her deceased colleague Donny Macleod (father of Channel 4 announcer Dave Macleod) and the video diary segment on Pebble Mill at One probably in the last years of the show.
